Fallout 4 Settlement Terminal Mod

I use the Heather mod, I have cheat terminal enabled but haven't used it, and I'm about to install the Institute Restoration mod. I have CBBE Curvy installed but disabled it because of some texturing issues and couldn't load the CBBE Vanilla mod (Xbox). I also tried the Sims 2 mod but it's so buggy that I got tired of fighting with it. If you’ve been playing Fallout 4 for a while then you’re probably well familiar with its workshop feature. However, the mechanic is one of those easy to learn, but hard to master style elements that has a lot of hidden depth throughout. Those who’ve spent dozens of hours building up their settlements will likely breeze through the new DLC, Fallout 4 Vault-Tec Workshop, but others could struggle with a few of the requirements that it asks of the player. We’re here to help though, and one mission could be tough, just because its requirements are a bit hidden away in the workshop menu. So, here’s our guide on how to build and use a terminal in Fallout 4 Vault-Tec Workshop.

Fallout 4 Settlement Terminal Mod

About halfway through the Vault-Tec Workshop missions you’ll begin actually running tests on your vault dwellers. These will require a few different things to be built. Most of them will appear in the “Special” area of the workshop menu, but a few are outside of it. One of these is the terminal, which you have to build to manipulate the mechanical bike that you are using for your tests.

Once equipped with modding tools I will implement a new system, it will allow you to build a distress/attract beacon (Similar to recruiting beacon) which when linked to a terminal will allow you to send out various radio signals such as: Raiders - promise of riches Mutants - a commander ordering them to attack settlement Institute - 56k dial tone. Jul 20, 2019 Simply put, this mod increases the size of all vanilla settlements in Fallout 4, allowing you to build in a much larger area. You can also scrap items outside of the original build area and increase the NPC Sandbox. The only settlement this mod isn’t compatible with is Home Plate. If you use Sim Settlements, this mod is highly recommended.

To build it, just open up the workshop menu then navigate to Power and Miscellaneous. It is then the second option in this menu, right after the Settlement Beacon. Place it somewhere near whatever object you are trying to control and power it up. I recommend putting in a generator next to this area that at least produces five units of energy. Attach a wire to the terminal (check the bottom of the screen for the specific button necessary), then attach the other end to whatever device you want the terminal to control. Then just activate it as normal, and navigate through the menu for whichever option you want to use for your test.

You can even re-use this same terminal throughout Fallout 4 Vault-Tec Workshop, attaching it to whatever the new device is that the mission requires. With that you should be all set. Fallout 4 Vault-Tec Workshop has a lot of new stuff, but most of it is optional. If anything troubles you too much be sure to let us know in the comments.
